Double Dry Hop Hazy IPA, 6.9% ABV
Ampelmännchen
Berliner Weisse 4.4% ABV. Low strength Northern German sour wheat ale. Traditionally drank either on its own or Mit Schuss, with a splash of syrup. Named for the iconic, charming figures on pedestrian signals in former East Germany known as Ampelmännchen; "little traffic light man".
Ardenne
French Pilsner 5.2% ABV. Pale, pilsner style lager brewed with all French hops. Named for the region in France where the barley for this beer was grown.
Alight
Biere de Garde, 6.0% ABV. Meaning beer for keeping, Beire de Garde is a French farmhouse ale with notes of a maltier Saison. "Alight" means to disembark from a train.
Stoker
Schwarzbier 5.6% ABV. Traditional German black lager. The name refers to the person that stokes the boiler on a steam locomotive.
Hylander Ale
Butterscotch, rum coffee ale 5.5% ABV Named in honor of the Columbia Heights High School mascot; a Scottish Highlander
Jovarai
Lithuanian Farmhouse Ale 7.7% ABV. Made with yeast from the Jovaru brewery, this rendition is a loose interpretation of the original.
Green Car
Double IPA 8.9% ABV. West Coast Imperial IPA. Named for the green colored rail cars produced in Russia and China.
Northern Explorer
XPA 5.3% ABV. An Australian extra pale ale. Hop forward showcasing new school hops from the Northern and Southern Hemispheres. Named for a scenic railway in New Zealand
Brass Hat
Belgian Tripel 8.6% ABV. Strong, golden ale originally brewed by Trappist Monks in Belgium. Named for a high-ranking member of a train crew.
Isartor
Hopfenweisse 7.2% ABV. Hoppy wheat Ale. Hybrid German-American style. Named for the rail stop in Munich along the Isar River.
Hackerbrücke
FestBier/Wiesn Lager 6.3% ABV. This is the more modern style of beer served at Oktoberfest in Munich. Hackerbrücke is the "Hacker's Bridge". It is the original location of the Hacker-Pschorr Brewery; one of Munich's 'Big 6".
